Spring 2011, Van der Haas decided to extend their software system with track & trace. For costumers and associates it will be possible to follow the status of their orders online.
Van der Haas places order for LHV vehicles

Since the unrestricted use of LHV vehicles is finally allowed from November 2011, Van der Haas ordered it's first LHV vehicles. The LHVs will consist of a truck and trailer with an extra close-coupled trailer added. This combination will have the capacity of 66 Danish trollies. Draco Sneek will build the chassis, while EBO van Weel takes care of further construction. Cooling will be provided by a collaboration of RH koeling and Govet koeling.
Van der Haas buys new DAF truck with EEV engine

On January 27th the truck was delivered, a new DAF FAR XF 105. For Van der Haas this is the first vehicle equipped with an EEV engine. EEV means Enhanced Environmental friendly Vehicles. Vehicles with these engines have emission values which are below the strict EURO 5 standard.
Van der Haas invests in new trucks

On February 2nd, DAF delivered 2 new FAR CF85 trucks to Van der Haas. The trucks will be used to transport plants under controlled conditions. Both trucks are equipped with full air suspension, also both EBO van Weel trailers have air suspension to provide the desired comfort to both driver and cargo.
Van der Haas starts logistics support center in Bauersbach

Van der Haas starts a logistics support center in Bauersbach, Germany. In Bauersbach, Van der Haas has a modern building which is well suited for handling various floricultural products. Van der Haas has deployed some trucks in Bauersbach to distribute the products to customers. With Van der Haas' new logistics center, the distribution of horticultural products in Southern Germany is even more improved.

Joh. van der Haas B.V. chooses new board computer

After more than 15 years of working with one of the first generation on-board computers, Van der Haas decided to replace them. All trucks will now be equipped with a Carcube computer. The Carcube makes it possible to have realtime loading, unloading and GPS data available.
