History
In 1954 Johan van der Haas founded the Van der Haas company, his company primarily engaged in the transportation of agricultural products. From the 70's the company specialized in the transportation of horticultural products. In 1994 Johan van der Haas retired. The company continued, now with the second generation to be at the wheel.
In 1997 Van der Haas took over a company in Belgium, the currently known Joh. van der Haas N.V. located in Lochristi (near Gent), to improve efficiency in international transport. In May 2006 Van der Haas took over the devision of horticultural transport of A. Visbeen & Zn.
